What is the difference between facial massage and face exercises?

Facial massage is the act of massaging your face whether you’re only using your hands or getting help from a tool. Facial massage stimulates circulation and helps brings oxygen into your skin and promotes relaxation. It also reduces puffiness, creates a brighter skin tone and appearance. Facial massage increases collagen production, which is great for preventing or reducing wrinkles.

Facial exercise is a workout that alters facial contours by increasing muscle tone and facial volume by promoting muscular hypertrophy. Facial exercises increase the blood circulation, release tension in the face and neck, strengthen the muscles in your face, firm and tighten the skin and just like facial massage, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles by muscle lift.

What is the Difference between Facial Massage and Facial Exercise?

When you do facial exercises, you create resistance and the opposite resistance to get your muscles working. When the muscles are activated, you gain volume in that way and you get permanent results and can really sculpt your face. You also improve blood circulation and limb circulation. Facial Massage doesn’t include muscle work, but when you are massaging your face you are also improving the blood circulation and at the same time you are relaxing the tension. For the best results, it’s recommended practicing both, focus on facial exercises, and finish your face yoga routine with facial massages.
